Given China’s overall lagged technology, the quality of Chinese lactic acid is poorer than that of developed countries. The majority of Chinese lactic acid manufacturers mainly produce DL-lactic acid, only a few manufacturers can produce high quality L-lactic acid. However, lactic acid production enjoys promising market potential in China.
