This chart shows the latest terrorist and rebel activity related to aircraft, airports and the aviation sector in general. The chart contains a link analysis of events from 1 Jan. 2011 to 27 Aug. 2011, including the shooting of USAF airmen at Frankfurt International Airport and the suicide bombing attack at Moscow's Domededovo International Airport.
It also contains a timeline of significant aviation-related events since 2002. In addition, the chart contains two sets of four pie charts, indicating activity by theater, country, targets and tactics. The first set examines all events, which includes attacks, arrests and other terrorist/rebel activity, while the second set focus solely on attacks.
