Amara Raja batteries limited (ARBL) is the largest manufacturer of Standby Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries in the Indian Ocean Rim comprising the area ranging from Africa and the Middle East to South East Asia. Company in the business of Industrial Battery, Automobile Battery and Power System and now planning to enter in to the tubular batteries segment in the next couple of years. Tubular batteries are mainly used in material handling equipment.
Company has been giving a robust growth from last 5 years although sector was badly damaged because of global crisis. Last 5 Yrs CAGR sales is 44%, EBITDA & PAT is 62% and 81% respectively for the same period.
