CAPL is India’s largest manufacturers of variety of terpene chemicals and other speciality aroma chemicals. CAPL’s vast product range includes Synthetic Camphor, Terpine oils, Pine Oils, Resins, Astrolide, and several other chemicals finding applications in vast array of industries ranging from Flavours & Fragrances, Pharmaceuticals, Soaps & Cosmetics, Rubber & Tyre, Paints & Varnishes and many more.
Recently we met the management of the company & it in has 8000sq Ft office at flora Fountain in Mumbai which is valued at current market price of around Rs 30crs. Company has 60 acres of land & factory at Bareli. & 40 acres land in baroda. Camphor and Allied which enjoys debt of Rs 18.77 crs has gone through the ECB process for raising Rs 1 bn and the same will be used to expand Baroda capacities from 700 tons to 2700 tons of astrolite the fragrance chemical used by foreign FMCG companies. The selling price of astrolite is around 7US$ per kg.
