Blast Hole Drilling Rigs in Mining Industry Market Research in Russia (Russian Version)

The report is devoted to analysis of current standing and prospects of development of market of drilling facilities for drilling of blast holes in mining industry of Russia. The research can attract attention and provides useful information:
- for domestic and foreign machine building companies, operating in segment of drilling facilities (dynamics, pattern, analysis of standing of production and supplies of drilling rigs);
- for mining companies (the authors paid much attention to description of performance data of both domestic and foreign drilling facilities, presented at the Russian market);
- for service companies, performing drilling and blasting operations.
A feature of the research, which differs it from similar studies of other companies, is detailed breakage of market of drilling rigs by separate segment: drilling rigs for ground-surface and underground operations, self-propelled and non-self-propelled rigs. It is important, as these segments demonstrate different behaviors and trends. For instance, the segment of non-self-propelled rigs for underground operations is characterized by export orientation, whereas the segment of self-propelled drilling rigs demonstrates gradual (and growing) drift to domination of foreign rigs.
The report also describes nuance features of use of drilling rigs by drilling method, and presents analysis of drilling rigs by segments of air-hammer drilling, roller-bit drilling and auger drilling.
The report is composed of 5 Sections, contains 125 pages, including 35 Tables and 34 Figures. The work is a desk research. As informational sources, we used data of Rosstat (Federal Statistic Service of Russia), Federal Customs Service of Russia, official statistics of railage of JSC ''RZHD'', sectoral and regional mass-media, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as web-sites of company-producers and dealers of drilling facilities.
The first Section of the report presents brief characteristics of drilling rigs, manufactured in Russia, their classification, key design features.
The second Section analyses standing of production of drilling rigs, dynamics and pattern of production of drilling rigs for ground-surface and underground operations. In description of drilling rig producers, information on performance data of drilling facilities, manufactured by each producer, is given.
The third Section describes in details (by trade mark (brands) and models of drilling rigs) foreign trade transactions in drilling rigs, role and importance of export and import supplies of drilling rigs. For specialists, technical information (performance data) for drilling rigs of foreign brands (both well-known leaders of the market and new developing companies at the Russian market), imported by Russian customers, is presented.
The fourth Section is devoted to analysis of consumption of drilling rigs in Russia. In special details use of drilling rigs for drilling of ground-surface blast holes is considered. Estimation of drilling and blasting operations in Russia from sectoral and regional viewpoints is given, and main producers of drilling and blasting operations in coal sector, mining of iron ore resources, non-metallic natural resources, gold and diamonds are presented.
In addition, a question on effectiveness of application of domestic and foreign drilling facilities as applied to specific conditions is specially discussed.
