Shanghai Pudong Heqing Industrial Park (Shanghai Pudong Heqing IP), rated “BB” by China Knowledge. The industrial park was formerly known as Heqing County Industrial Zone, is located in the eastern part of Pudong New Area in Shanghai. The park was approved as a municipal-level development zone by the Shanghai municipal government in 2006 and has an area of 4.52 sq km.

Shanghai Pudong Heqing IP is within 20 minutes’ driving distance of five state-level development zones in Shanghai: Shanghai Caohejing Development Zone, Shanghai Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Shanghai Jinqiao Export Processing Zone and Shanghai Zhangjiang High-tech Park.

Major industries in the Shanghai Pudong Heqing Industrial Park are photovoltaic, automobiles and automobile parts, and medical instruments manufacturing. The park was approved as the “East Section of Shanghai Zhangjiang High-tech Park” by the Shanghai Pudong government in 2006. Shanghai Zhangjiang Modern Medical Instrument Park, with an investment of RMB 1.2 billion, is located in Pudong Heqing IZ. It covers an area of 1.1 sq km.
