Bentonite Clay and Mud Powder Market Research in the CIS (Russian Version)

This report focuses on research of current market conditions of bentonite clay and mud powder and forecast of its development. The report consists of 7 chapters, contains 188 pages, including 48 figures, 84 tables and 1 Annex.
As information sources, data of Russian state bodies: the Federal Service of State Statistics (production data), , the Federal Customs Service, JSC RZD (statistics of rail transportation), State Customs Service of Ukraine (data on foreign trade operations), Republic of Kazakhstan Agency for Statistics were used. Besides, data of the CIS Goskomstat, companies, the database of ''InfoMine'', as well as mass media materials and reports of companies were also applied.
The first chapter of the report is devoted to the characterization of the current condition of the world market of bentonite. This section presents data on the world's reserves of bentonite clays, the volumes of production in various countries around the world in 2000-2009 and prices for some products in 2005-2009.
The second chapter presents data on reserves and deposits of bentonite clays in the CIS countries.
The third chapter is devoted to analysis of data on the production of bentonite and the production of bentonite products. It describes the technology of production of mud powders. It presents data on volumes of mining of bentonite in Russia and CIS countries in 2000-2009, as well as the production of mud powders in 2003-2009. The chapter describes current position of company-producers of bentonite products in the CIS countries, including information on the resources base, characteristics of the manufactured products, volumes and destinations of supplies.
In the fourth chapter of the report analysis of foreign trade of CIS countries in bentonite products is given. It presents data on volumes of the supplies in bulk and in money terms, the main exporters and importers of bentonite, estimates regional pattern of the supplies.
In the fifth chapter the price analysis is presented. It presents data on changes in prices on bentonite products of some Russian producers in 2005-2009, changes in export and import prices on bentonite products.
The sixth chapter is devoted to the estimation of domestic consumption of bentonite in Russia and Ukraine. This chapter provides supply-demand balance of bentonite, estimation of regional and sectoral structure of its consumption. Also it provides information on volumes of shipment of bentonite to the greatest Russian consumers by railway. The largest Russian company-consumers of bentonite are described.
The seventh and final chapter of the report describes current trends in the market of bentonite and provides forecast of production and consumption of this product in Russia for the period up to 2015.
The Appendix presents contact information on leading Russian producers of bentonite products.
