NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) July 16, 2007--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services raised its standard long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC), N.Y. bonds, issued by Dutchess County Industrial Development Agency and New York State Dormitory Authority, to 'A' from 'A-', on VBMC's role as the 365-licensed bed flagship hospital of Health Quest Systems Inc. (HQSI), its parent organization, and a forthcoming change in the security of VBMC's bonds to now include the support of HQSI's obligated group.
