NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) May 23, 2006--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services placed its rating on New York State Dormitory Authority's revenue debt, issued for Mount Sinai NYU Health Obligated Group, on CreditWatch with positive implications due to New York University Hospitals Center's planned withdrawal this summer, which will be a major change in the obligated group's structure and is likely to result in a higher rating. The pending withdrawal, if successful, will leave Mount Sinai Hospital, whose credit profile as a single entity is likely to be stronger than the obligated group as currently configured, as the obligated group's only member, which could result in a multinotch upgrade.
