Eurasian Development Bank 'BBB/A-3' Ratings Affirmed On Strong Capitalization; Outlook Stable Nov 11

Abstract
In our view, the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) has strong shareholder support and a strong capital position. We are therefore affirming our 'BBB/A-3' ratings on EDB, whose ratings remain linked to those of its dominant shareholder, the Russian Federation (BBB/Stable/A-3). The stable outlook on EDB reflects that on the Russian Federation. LONDON (Standard & Poor's) Nov. 15, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it has affirmed its 'BBB' long-term and 'A-3' short-term foreign currency issuer credit ratings on the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB). At the same time, we affirmed the Kazakhstan national scale rating at 'kzAA+' and the Russia national scale rating at 'ruAAA'. The outlook is stable.
