Broken stone market research in Russia and Central Federal District (Russian Version)

This report is devoted to the investigation of the current standing of the broken stone market in Russia, and forecasting the market development up to 2015.
The first section of the report presents data on reserves of resources for the production of broken stone in Russia.
The second section is devoted to analysis of production statistics for the period of 1997-2006, including data on broken stone output in Russia, production of commodity products, regional patterns of production, as well as profiles of some the large producers of broken stone. This section provides data on the resources base, technology of production and equipment, range and grade of products, production volumes, plans for enterprise development, as well as data on volumes and flows (destinations) of supplies of the product for 2004-2005.
The third section analyses of Russian foreign trade of broken stone from 1997 to 2006.
The fourth section presents analysis of consumption of broken stone in Russia. It offers a supply-demand balance, as well as regional and sectoral structure of consumption of broken stone in Russia and the Central Federal District, and an estimation of the effect of seasonality on supplies. A description of the main consumers of broken stone in the Central Federal District is given, as well as expert opinions of key players in the road-building market.
The fifth section is devoted to analysis of broken stone prices in Russia, including dynamics of average prices of broken stone from 2001 to 2006, data on release prices of some Russian producers, and analysis of export-import prices. In addition, the section offers a forecast of prices in the broken stone market up to 2010.
The sixth and final section of the report presents a forecast of production of broken stone in Russia and Central Federal District for 2007-2015, as well as a forecast of development of product end-uses and consumption of broken stone for the period.
The Appendix includes addresses and contact information of the main company-producers of broken stone.
The report consists of seven sections: 143 pages including 33 figures, 42 tables and an Appendix. Findings are the result of desk-based study. Information sources include Rosstat, Inter-state Committee on Statistics of CIS countries, the Federal Customs Service of Russia, official domestic railway statistic of JSC RZhD (former Ministry of Railway Transport of Russia), sectoral (industrial) and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as data from websites of company-producers. Please be aware that in Russia, there is no obligatory record of trucking of freight so the report considers only railage data, as well as data from some enterprises on domestic supplies of broken stone.
