Aksu Enerji ve Ticaret A.S. is a Turkish power producer.The company is the first in Turkey to operate under build-operate-transfer regulations. According to Turkey's legislation, the built-operate-transfer model gives authorisation to private companies to establish and operate power generation, transmission and distribution systems. The private companies generate electricity for their own needs and sell the surplus to state electricity generation and transmission company TEAS and state electricity distribution company TEDAS.
