Global Water Intelligence (GWI)
Global Water Intelligence, May 2013
Global Water Intelligence (GWI) is a monthly, newsletter delivered via e-mail and in hard copy format providing analysis and strategic data on the international water market.
The publication boasts a network of specialist water and financial journalists, many based in country, and with access to exclusive regional data.
Regular monthly features and tracker One of the strengths of GWI is its monthly feature programme. As well as news and analysis, we use a number of other products to monitor the water industry and assess new developments.
These include:
The Investor's View: This is an opinion column in which we invite industry experts to write on some of the issues influencing water utility investors. To date we have been privileged to include contributions from environmental risk rating agency Serm, US investment company Avalon Trust, and global investment bank NM Rothschild and Sons. Clay Landry of the Political Economy Research Centre (Perc) has also produced a series of reports on water trading companies and the potential for e-commerce in the water industry.
Performer of the Month: Each month, our financial and regulatory affairs editor constructs a comprehensive table of water company share prices. This includes the closing price on the final trading day of the previous month, 52-week highs and lows, as well as latest reported earnings. Performer also measures the performance of UK water shares against the Ftse 100 market index.
Tracker: Tracker is GWI's popular 'deal watcher' providing unique monthly updates on water concessions, BOTs and other private sector contracts proposed, bidding or signed. By using tracker you can quickly gauge a project's main purpose and value, the relevant companies, how it is being financed and the latest tender news, prequalification and bid details. Tracker supports an in-house database which can provide information on private sector deals from over 50 cities and regions.
"I am very impressed by how determined and comprehensive you are in your coverage of this growing sector."
