This report focuses on the research of current market conditions for wollastonite in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and forecasts its development. The report consists of 8 chapters, containing 99 pages with 20 figures, 25 tables and an annex. This work is a desk-based study. Information sources include the FSSS, Federal Customs Service of Russia, official statistics of rail transport of Russia, Inter-State Committee on Statistics of CIS, SCC of Ukraine, sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as web-sites of enterprises.
The first chapter of the report summarizes data on the condition of the wollastonite world market.
The second chapter of the report presents information about wollastonite deposits and their reserves in the CIS.
The third chapter is devoted to wollastonite enrichment technology. In addition, the chapter outlines the quality requirements for commercial products.
The fourth chapter of the report presents data on the extraction and production of wollastonite in Russia and CIS. The chapter describes the current position of wollastonite mining companies in the CIS. In addition, data on existing projects for the production of synthetic wollastonite are given.
The fifth chapter of the report analyzes data on foreign trade of wollastonite in Russia (2001-2010) and Ukraine (2002-2010).
The sixth chapter of the report presents data on export-import and domestic prices for wollastonite in Russia and Ukraine.
The seventh chapter is devoted to analysis of domestic consumption of wollastonite in Russia in 2001-2010, shows the supply-demand balance of wollastonite and describes the main end-uses of wollastonite. Also it presents data on wollastonite consumption patterns in Ukraine in 2002-2010.
The eighth and final chapter of the report presents a forecast of development of wollastonite market in Russia up to 2015.
The Appendix presents contact information on producers and consumers of wollastonite in CIS.
