Antimony and its Compounds Production, Market and Forecast in the CIS (Russian Version)

The report is devoted to investigating the current standing the antimony and its compounds market in the CIS and forecasting its development. The report consists of seven sections, containing 94 pages with 40 figures and 37 tables.
This work is a desk-based study. Information sources include Rosstat, the State Committee on Statistics of CIS countries, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, State Customs Service, Agency for Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federal Customs Service, the official railage statistics, sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports securities, as well as websites of company-producers and consumers of antimony.
The first chapter of the report presents brief characteristics of the world antimony market, data on world reserves of antimony, production of antimony concentrates, the main producing countries and consumers, as well as the world price of antimony in the 1996-2010 years. Particular attention is given to export-import operations of antimony concentrates, antimony trioxide and antimony metal.
The second chapter of the report details the mineral resources of antimony in the CIS (Russia, Kyrgystan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan), and provides data on stocks and the main fields.
The third chapter presents data on the extraction and processing of antimony raw materials to produce marketable products. This section shows the dynamics of the production of antimony concentrate in CIS and marketable antimony products (1994-2010). Characteristics of technologies for the production of antimony products and quality requirements are also explored. In addition, a description of the main enterprise-producers of antimony concentrates and the commodity of antimony in the CIS countries (Russia, Kyrgystan, Tajikistan) are highlighted.
The fourth chapter is devoted to foreign trade operations (2001-2010) of antimony products (concentrate, antimony trioxide, antimony metal) in CIS countries (Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgystan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus) and an analysis of export-import prices for the products concerned.
In the fifth chapter, new projects aimed at production of antimony products in CIS enterprises are profiled.
The sixth chapter describes the use of antimony and its compounds in Russia/CIS. This chapter explains the dynamics of consumption of antimony in Russia (2001-2010) and gives data on the consumption structure of antimony (including secondary metal) in Russia. It also shows the consumption of antimony in the CIS countries (Ukraine, Kazakhstan) and the main commercial consumers.
The seventh chapter is devoted to forecasting the market development of antimony in the CIS up to 2015, and forecasting production of antimony concentrate in CIS countries.
The Appendix presents addresses and contact information for enterprises producing antimony products.
