The operating profit of the company was $532.3 million in FY2010, as compared to operating loss of $607.8 million during FY2009. The net loss was $831.1 million in FY2010, as compared to net profit of $827.6 million in FY2009. -The company was acquired by affiliates of private-equity firms TPG Capital and Apollo Global Management in 2008. As a result, the company's shares trading on NYSE were stopped. In addition, in November 2010, the company’s name was changed to “Caesars Entertainment Corporation”.
