International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology
Multi-Science Publishing, June 2012
Pressures of population growth and prosperity are stressing transport networks worldwide, most noticeably in developing countries. The need for infrastructure renewal and development presents opportunities for syntheses of engineering practice and theory to create frameworks of understanding which can serve as bases for creating new ideas to improve mobility, enhance safety and foster smart growth in transportation systems. While the International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology will probe the frontiers of the technically possible, it will also publish papers on the constraints on the possible, in terms of public policy, government regulation and natural environments.
The International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology is the only English language journal focussing on these issues, with special emphasis on the developiong world. As such it will be a most useful addition to the literature, benefitting researchers, practitioners and policy makers, the community of innovation in transport in the broadest sense.
Themes
The editors will welcome papers on:
