Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AAA' enhanced rating and 'AA' Standard & Poor's underlying rating (SPUR), and stable outlook, to Garland Independent School District, Texas' series 2005 unlimited-tax GO school building and refunding bonds. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'AA' standard long-term rating and SPUR on the district's GO debt outstanding. The enhanced rating reflects the district's qualification for the Texas Permanent School Fund guarantee.
