We are into the month of December and this is likely to be the quietest run-up to Christmas for some years. With current market conditions looking like those in the early years of this decade, it is worth noting the average value of corporate bond issuance in December in the years 2000 to 2002 was only A$320 million. We have incurred A$200 million of issuance in the first week, so there may be a little more yet to come but...
