Abstract
The ratings on Sweden-based non-life insurer L-nsf-rs-kringar Sak F-rs-krings AB (publ) (LF Sak) reflect its core status within L-nsf-rs-kringsgruppen, known as the L-nsf-rs-kringar Alliance (LF or the Alliance). Therefore, the ratings on LF Sak reflect the financial strength characteristics of LF. The Alliance's strong financial strength characteristics derive from its leadership in the Swedish non-life market, strong capitalization, and strong underwriting performance. These strengths are offset, however, by LF's concentration of business predominately in the Swedish non-life market and the potential volatility of earnings resulting from exposure to equities.
