Abstract
The counterparty credit rating on Sweden-based L-nsf-rs-kringar AB (publ) (LF AB) reflects its status as the intermediate holding company for the core operating subsidiaries within L-nsf-rs-kringsgruppen, known as the L-nsf-rs-kringar Alliance (LF or the Alliance). The strong financial strength of the Alliance derives from its leadership in the Swedish non-life market, strong capitalization, and strong underwriting performance. These strengths are offset, however, by LF's concentration on the mature and competitive Swedish non-life sector and potential volatility of earnings resulting from exposure to equities. Positive stand-alone rating factors for LF AB are its diversified income streams, track record of support from owners, and strong debt-servicing ability within the Alliance.
