Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AAA' program rating and 'AA' school issuer credit rating (ICR), with a stable outlook, on Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District, Texas' general obligation debt. The 'AAA' program rating reflects the district's eligibility for, and participation in, the Texas Permanent School Fund guarantee. The ICR reflects our opinion of the district's general creditworthiness, including its: Access to Houston's deep economic base, Sizable property tax base despite recent contractions, Stable student enrollment trends, and Very strong finances despite recent fluctuations of general fund reserves due to nonrecurring revenue and expenditures.
