Abstract
The 'A' long-term rating assigned to Edgar School District, Wis.' taxable general obligation (GO) refunding bonds and the 'A' issuer credit rating on the district reflect Standard & Poor's Ratings Services' opinion of the district's: Stable local economy, based on manufacturing and health care services; Stable enrollment, which directly affects district revenues; Good income and strong market value per capita levels; and Moderate overall net debt burden. In our opinion, the district's unreserved fund balance, which is only adequate, tempers these strengths. The district's full faith and credit GO pledge secures the series 2011A bonds.
