Abstract
This transaction update follows a review of the Deutsche Genossenschafts-Hypothekenbank AG (DG Hyp) public sector covered bond program. DG Hyp's public sector covered bonds are a part of its debt issuance program. Our review shows that the program's performance is stable and we have affirmed our 'AAA' rating. This program has been rated since November 1998 and DG Hyp uses it to issue covered bonds backed by a pool of public sector assets. The rating assigned to DG Hyp's public sector covered bond reflects Standard & Poor's level of comfort in the German covered bond legislation.
