Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) July 20, 2010--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services corrected by raising to 'AA+' from 'AA' its long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on Chesapeake, Va.'s series 2003A general obligation (GO) public improvement water and sewer bonds, due June 1, 2024, and June 1, 2028; series 2003B bonds, due June 1, 2033; and series 2003 unlimited-tax GO school refunding bonds, due June 1, 2011, and June 1, 2012. The outlook is stable. In addition, Standard & Poor's corrected its rating on Virginia Public School Authority's series 1995 GO bonds, supported by Chesapeake, by raising it to 'AA+' from 'AA'. The outlook is stable....
