Abstract
MELBOURNE (Standard & Poor's) Nov. 25, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it has removed its 'AA+' local currency and 'AA' foreign currency long-term issuer credit ratings on Housing New Zealand Corp. (HCNZ) and HCNZ's subsidiary, Housing New Zealand Ltd., from Credit Watch with negative implications, where they were placed on Oct 6. 2011. The ratings are affirmed, and the outlooks are stable. The removal of the CreditWatch reflects our expectation that HNZC will remain "critical" to the government as the primary social housing provider in New Zealand, while other aspects of its role will continue to evolve.
