Abstract
SAO PAULO (Standard & Poor's) June 19, 2009--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it withdrew its 'BBB-' global scale and 'brAAA' Brazil national scale long-term counterparty credit ratings on Banco Nossa Caixa S.A. at the company's request. Banco do Brasil S.A. (FC: BBB-/Stable/A-3; LC: BBB-/Stable/--) has controlled Banco Nossa Caixa S.A. since March 2009. 'Banco Nossa Caixa S.A. has a strong franchise and geographic presence in S-o Paulo State, serving public employees and operating as a payment agent for the state government's suppliers,' said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Marcelo Peixoto....
