U.S.-based electric transmission company ITC Holdings' business and financial risk profiles have improved to a level that is commensurate with the 'BBB+' rating. We expect that the Entergy transaction will enhance ITC Holdings' business risk profile in terms of size and geographic diversity. We are raising the corporate credit rating on ITC Holdings and its subsidiaries International Transmission Co., Michigan Electric Transmission Co., ITC Midwest LLC, and ITC Great Plains to 'BBB+' from 'BBB'. The stable outlook reflects our expectation that FFO/debt will remain above 10% in the near term. We've maintained Holdings business and financial risk profiles as excellent and aggressive, respectively.
