Abstract
DALLAS (Standard & Poor's) Dec. 8, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services raised its long-term rating to 'AA' from 'AA-' on the New Mexico Hospital Equipment Loan Council's debt issued for Presbyterian Healthcare Services (PHS). The outlook is stable. "The rating action reflects our view of PHS' record of solid financial performance, with strong operating results, good maximum annual debt service coverage, and improvement on its already very strong balance sheet," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Kevin Holloran. PHS also benefits from being the market's leading integrated delivery system, with a sizable health plan (Presbyterian Health Plan) and physician group (Presbyterian Medical Group).
