U.S. Housing Finance Agencies' Single-Family Bond Program Loan Performance Improved Slightly In Second Quarter Dec 11

Standard & Poors, December 2011

Abstract
The performance of loans in rated U.S. housing finance agencies' (HFA) whole-loan mortgage portfolios remained statistically unchanged in the second quarter of 2011, with single-family loan delinquencies declining by just 0.03%. Preliminary results from the third quarter show increases in delinquency for about three-fourths of the bond programs on which Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has updates. We will report on third-quarter loan performance when data on all bond programs in this survey become available.
