'A-1+' Rating Affirmed on Sheffield Receivables Corp.'s Commercial Paper Mar 00

Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) March 15, 2000--Standard & Poor's today affirmed its 'A-1'-plus rating on the commercial paper notes of Sheffield Receivables Corp. The rating action follows Sheffield's purchase of US$15 million notes from a special-purpose entity for the purchase of a pool of equipment lease receivables. The rating on Sheffield's commercial paper program is based on liquidity support from liquidity providers with short-term ratings commensurate with Sheffield's 'A-1'-plus rating, and sufficient pool-specific credit enhancement. Sheffield is a multiseller, partially enhanced asset-backed commercial paper conduit sponsored by Barclays Bank PLC, Standard & Poor's said. -- CreditWire...
