Abstract
Following a review of Krayinvestbank under Standard & Poor's revised bank criteria (published on Nov. 9, 2011), we have raised our long-term rating on the bank to 'B+' from 'B' and affirmed the 'B' short-term and 'ruA' Russia national scale ratings. The outlook is stable. Our ratings on Krayinvestbank reflect the 'bb' anchor for a commercial bank operating only in Russia, and its weak business position, moderate capital and earnings, moderate risk position, average funding, and adequate liquidity. They also take into account our view of the bank's government-related entity classification and the moderately high likelihood of extraordinary support from Krasnodar Krai.
