Abstract
SAN FRANCISCO (Standard & Poor's) April 1, 2005--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA-' rating to the University of Colorado Board of Regents' $232.9 million enterprise system revenue bonds, series 2005, issued for the University of Colorado (CU), and affirmed the 'AA-' rating on the university's outstanding enterprise system revenue bonds. The rating reflects the university's position as Colorado's flagship university system, broad revenue diversity, capable central oversight of capital needs and funding sources, and moderate debt burden. An offsetting credit factor is the uncertainty regarding the implementation of the college opportunity fund (COF) that will replace state appropriations. The outlook is stable.
