LONDON (Standard & Poor's) Aug. 5, 2008Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it has lowered its credit ratings on four European synthetic collateralized debt obligation (CDO) tranches and removed one from CreditWatch with negative implications (see list below). The rating actions reflect a change in the rating on the swap counterparty, which is a dependent party in the transactions.
