Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating and 'AA-' school issuer credit rating (ICR) to Yorktown Community School Building Corp., Ind.'s series 2011 taxable ad valorem property tax first mortgage bonds, issued for Yorktown Community Schools (YCS; formerly known as the Mount Pleasant Township Community School Corp.). The 'AA-' ICR reflects only the principal component of the 2011 issue, not the tax-credit component. We do not rate the latter. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AA+' ratings on existing debt issued for the school corporation by the Mount Pleasant Township Community School Building Corp., Mount Pleasant Township Multi-School Building Corp., and Yorktown Pleasant View School Building Corp.
