Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA' long-term rating to Euless, Texas' series 2010 general obligation (GO) refunding bonds. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR), on the city's existing GO debt. The outlook is stable. The ratings reflect our view of the city's: Diversified economic base, which benefits due to its direct access to the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan statistical area; Good wealth and income levels; Historically sound financial position with conservative management practices and long-term planning; and Moderate overall debt levels, coupled with limited capital needs.
