American Airlines 2001-1 Certificates CreditWatch Revised To Developing; Other AMR And American Ratings Unchanged Dec 11

Abstract We have reviewed our issue and recovery ratings on debt of bankrupt AMR Corp. and American Airlines Inc. The corporate credit ratings, which are defined by the companies' bankruptcy status are unchanged at 'D'. Issue and recovery ratings are also unchanged; however, we are revising the CreditWatch status of the 2001-1 Class A1, B, and C pass-through certificates to developing from negative. We will withdraw our 'D' issue ratings on AMR and American's unsecured, secured, and non-enhanced equipment trust certificates (except the 2009-2 certificates) and our recovery ratings once we have published a recovery report.
