Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Dec. 19, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it assigned its preliminary 'BBB+' senior unsecured and preliminary 'BBB' subordinated ratings to Burlington, N.C.-based laboratory services provider Laboratory Corp. of America Holdings' (BBB+/Stable/--) issues registered under a Rule 415 WKSI shelf filing. Our 'BBB+' corporate credit rating on LabCorp remains unchanged.
