(Editor's note: The ratings on Zurich Australian Insurance Ltd. were misstated in the rating list at the end of this analysis, which was originally published on Sept. 5, 2002. Previous amendments to this list: The ratings on Zurich Financial Services, Fidelity & Deposit Co. of Maryland, Zurich Australia Ltd., and Zurich Specialties London Ltd. were misstated in the rating list. The ratings on Farmers New World Life Insurance Co., Zurich Agrippina Versicherung AG, and Zurich Lebensversicherungs-Gesellschaft (Zurich) were added to the list below. A corrected version of the article follows.) On Sept. 5, 2002, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services lowered its long- and short-term ratings on related entities of Switzerland-based Zurich Financial Services (collectively ZFS) to single-'A'-plus/'A-1' from double-'A'-minus/'A-1'-plus, respectively....
