Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has affirmed its 'A-' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on revenue bonds issued by New York State Dormitory Authority for Mount Sinai School of Medicine. The 'A-' rating reflects our assessment of the school's healthy demand, solid operating results in fiscal 2010, coupled with adequate financial resources for the rating. The school has significantly increased its debt load in the past two years, as the enterprise has begun two large-scale projects to enhance its clinical research and provide residential living space to its own community and tenants at large.
