Agence Francaise de Developpement Placed On CreditWatch Negative Following Similar Action On France Dec 11

Abstract
We have placed our unsolicited 'AAA' long-term sovereign credit rating on the Republic of France on CreditWatch with negative implications. The ratings on Agence Francaise de Developpement (AFD) are equalized with those on the Republic of France, reflecting our opinion that there is an 'almost certain' likelihood that AFD would receive timely and sufficient extraordinary support from the French government. Consequently, we are placing our 'AAA' long-term ratings on AFD on CreditWatch with negative implications. The 'A-1+' short-term rating is affirmed.
