Autauga County Water Authority, AL's Series 2012 Bonds Rated 'A' On Stable And Diverse Customer Base Jan 12

Abstract DALLAS (Standard & Poor's) Jan. 4, 2012--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'A' long-term rating, and stable outlook, to Autauga County Water Authority, Ala.'s series 2012 water revenue bonds. 'The 'A' rating and stable outlook reflects our assessment of the water system's primarily residential, stable, and diverse customer base, which provides adequate debt service coverage,' said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Scott Sagen. 'We believe the authority's willingness to raise water rates over the past two years combined with its limited additional debt plans will help preserve the adequate coverage,' said Mr. Sagen.
