Abstract
TORONTO (Standard & Poor's) Jan. 19, 2006--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today said it revised its distribution profile assessment (DPA) on Calgary, Alta.-based Fort Chicago Energy Partners L.P. (FCEP or the partnership) to moderately aggressive from aggressive. The revision represents a one-category change on a seven-step scale, with characterizations ranging from very aggressive to very conservative. At same time, the 'SR-2' Canadian stability rating on the partnership was affirmed. The outlook is stable. The stability rating actions follow FCEP's announcement that Aux Sable, in which the partnership holds a 42.7% interest, entered into a long-term marketing agreement that reduces the variability of future cash flow generation from Aux Sable.
