Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the Texas Tech University Board of Regents' revenue finance system bonds outstanding, issued on behalf of the Texas Tech University System (TTUS). The outlook is stable. In addition, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-1+' short-term rating on the system's commercial paper (CP) notes outstanding. The 'AA' ratings reflect our opinion of the strength of the broad "available funds pledge," which includes tuition and various other fees, charged to all students at Texas Tech University, Angelo State and the Health Science Center (HSC), as well as the institutional strengths of the system.
