American Airlines 2009-1A Certificates Rating Affirmed At 'BBB-', Off Watch Jan 12

Abstract American Airlines on Dec. 23, 2011, affirmed aircraft debt that collateralizes its 2009-1 Class A pass-through certificates. We are affirming our 'BBB-' rating on the certificates and removing the rating from CreditWatch. Our ratings on other pass-through certificates of American remain on CreditWatch with developing implications. NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Jan. 9, 2012--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it affirmed its 'BBB-' rating on AMR Corp. (D/--) subsidiary American Airlines Inc.'s 2009-1A pass-through certificates. The rating was removed from CreditWatch, where it had placed been placed on Nov. 17, 2011.
