Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) August 9, 2000--Standard & Poor's affirmed its short-term 'A-1' rating on the commercial paper notes of Atlantic Asset Securitization Corp. The rating action follows Atlantic's commitment to provide a $100 million facility to finance trade receivables originated by a specialty finance company. The rating on Atlantic's commercial paper program is based on liquidity support from liquidity providers with short-term ratings commensurate with Atlantic's 'A-1' rating and sufficient pool-specific credit enhancement.
