Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) Feb. 5, 2001--Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-1' rating on the commercial paper notes of Atlantic Asset Securitization Corp. (Atlantic). The rating action follows Atlantic's execution of a receivable purchase agreement pursuant to which the conduit will fund up to $125 million to a special-purpose entity for the purchase of a pool of trade receivables from a manufacturer of outdoor barbeque grills, smokers, and related accessories. The rating on Atlantic's commercial paper program is based on liquidity support from liquidity providers with short-term ratings commensurate with Atlantic's 'A-1' rating and sufficient pool-specific credit enhancement. Atlantic is a multiseller, partially enhanced asset-backed commercial paper conduit administered by Credit Lyonnais (single-'A'-minus/A-2), Standard & Poor's said. --...
