Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Dec. 28, 2001--Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-1' rating on the commercial paper notes of Atlantic Asset Securitization Corp. The rating action follows Atlantic's execution of a purchase agreement according to which the conduit will finance up to $200 million from a special-purpose entity for the purchase of an undivided interest in a pool of trade receivables originated by a specialty foods company. The rating on Atlantic's commercial paper program is based on liquidity support from liquidity providers with short-term ratings commensurate with Atlantic's 'A-1' rating and sufficient pool-specific credit enhancement. Atlantic is a multiseller, partially enhanced, asset-backed commercial paper conduit sponsored by Credit Lyonnais (single-'A'-minus/Positive/'A-2')....
