Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) Dec. 19, 2000--Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A-1' rating on the commercial paper notes of Atlantic Asset Securitization Corp. (Atlantic). The rating action follows Atlantic's $50 million commitment to fund a facility that will be used to warehouse newly originated mortgage loans originated or acquired by a specialty finance company. The rating on Atlantic's commercial paper program is based on liquidity support from liquidity providers with short-term ratings commensurate with Atlantic's 'A-1' rating and sufficient pool-specific credit enhancement. Atlantic is a multiseller, partially enhanced asset-backed commercial paper conduit sponsored by Credit Lyonnais, New York Branch (single 'A' minus/Stable/A-2), Standard & Poor's said. -- CreditWire...
