Summary: Allegheny County Industrial Development Authority, Pennsylvania Western Pennsylvania School For Blind Children; Independent Schools Jan 12

Abstract Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has removed its 'AA+/A-1' rating on Allegheny County Industrial Development Authority, Pa.'s variable-rate demand revenue bonds, issued for Western Pennsylvania School For Blind Children from CreditWatch with negative implications, where it had been placed Dec. 30, 2011. At the same time, we affirmed the 'AA+/A-1' rating. We placed the rating on CreditWatch because we were unable to obtain timely information of satisfactory quality after repeated attempts. Since the CreditWatch placement, we have received the necessary data required to maintain the rating and return the outlook to stable. The 'A-1' short-term rating component affirmation reflects our opinion of the liquidity facility with PNC Bank.
